Research supports Vitamin D to help with eye conditions including Glaucoma.
In 2014, a study involving over 6,000 people in Korea showed a very high correlation between people with low vitamin D and glaucoma. People with glaucoma had three times more problems with the vitamin D receptor.

In this video, we’re going to talk about one of the best natural remedies for glaucoma. Glaucoma is a condition where there is increased pressure inside the eyeball. This puts pressure on the optic nerve and can diminish your vision and cause blindness.
Around 80 million people in the world have glaucoma, and 50% of them are unaware that they have it. Research suggests that glaucoma could be an autoimmune disease, which would explain why this natural remedy is so effective!
In 2014, a study involving over 6,000 people in Korea showed a very high correlation between people with low vitamin D and glaucoma. People with glaucoma had three times more problems with the vitamin D receptor.
A German doctor named Dr. Harald Schelle uses high doses of vitamin D for numerous eye problems. Many autoimmune cases of glaucoma have a genetic problem with the vitamin D receptor, the conversion from the inactive to the active form of vitamin D, or an issue with vitamin D absorption. Collectively, these problems are referred to as vitamin D resistance.
To combat vitamin D resistance, you must increase your dosage. The standard recommendation for vitamin D is 20 ng per ml, however this is outdated and inaccurate. Dr. Schelle says we should have between 100 to 150 ng per ml of vitamin D.
Dr. Coimbra from Brazil has also seen excellent results using high doses of vitamin D for autoimmune conditions. He recommends starting with 1000 IUs of vitamin D per kilogram of body weight. For example, a person weighing 84 kilograms would need 84,000 IUs of vitamin D3 daily.
To minimize the risk of calcium buildup in the arteries, try the following:
•Don’t take a calcium supplement
•Reduce your consumption of calcium-rich foods
•Drink 2.5 liters of fluid daily
•Take 100 mcg of vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of vitamin D3
•Take 600 mg of magnesium daily

Introduction: What is glaucoma?
0:00let’s talk about the best vitamin to
0:02fight
0:03glucoma now before you take any actions
0:07that I’m about to recommend make sure
0:09you check with your doctor I’m not
0:11telling you to come off your medications
0:13what I’m just trying to do is put this
0:14on your radar because this data has been
0:17really hard to find so I want to share
0:20it with you because if you have glucoma
0:22or know of someone I think they need to
0:24know about Alternatives gloma is a
0:27situation where you have this increased
0:29pressure inside your eyeball and the
0:32danger of that is it can put pressure on
0:34the optic nerve and it could diminish
0:37your vision to the point where it could
0:39potentially cause blindness in fact
0:41glaucoma is the second cause of
0:43blindness uh with certain individuals
Facts about glaucoma
0:46there’s 80 million people in the world
0:48that have glaucoma and 50% of them are
0:52unaware that they have it and what I
0:54stumbled on with glucoma is actually
0:55quite fascinating and I had no idea that
0:58gloma could potentially be an autoimmune
1:01disease which will explain the natural
1:05remedy I’m going to talk about now if
1:07you typically research gloma with
1:09natural remedies or vitamins or
1:11nutrition or whatever you’re not going
1:13to find anything in fact you will see
1:17some papers on this that says there’s no
1:20results don’t even try of course that
1:22doesn’t convince me because first of all
1:24who is going to invest hundreds of
1:26thousands of dollars in research studies
1:29so do we just hope and pray that someday
1:32someone will do some research to prove
1:34it or what about just trying something
1:36natural to see if it works for you
Glaucoma and vitamin D
1:38especially when you hear what I’m going
1:40to talk about in relationship between
1:42glucoma and vitamin D in 2014 there was
1:47a study done in Korea with over 6,000
1:50people that showed a very high
1:52correlation between low vitamin D and
1:55glycom they found that people with
1:57glycom had three times more problems
1:59with the vitamin D receptor and in this
2:02video I’m going to summarize uh a book
2:04that I just found by a German doctor Dr
2:07Harold shell wrote this book and it’s
2:09quite fascinating because he uses high
2:12levels of vitamin D for all sorts of eye
2:15problems and he’s talking about all the
2:17great results that he’s getting and he
2:19describes some really uh fascinating
2:21information related to vitamin D and so
2:23that caught my attention and I want to
2:25summarize the book in this video and I’m
2:27going to put a link down below of the
2:29actual book pretty much every part of
2:32the eye has a vitamin D receptor and if
2:37this is truly an autoimmune disease then
2:41vitamin D is involved so in autoimmune
2:43diseases you have antibodies against
2:45your own tissues and so there’s
2:48inflammation by your tea cells this
2:51prevents your body from just functioning
2:53normal and vitamin E comes in there and
2:56it suppresses that reaction but the
2:58problem is if you’re you’re already
3:00deficient of vitamin D or you have
3:02resistance to vitamin D and that is
3:05probably more the case when you take
3:07normal mounts of vitamin D you don’t get
3:09the therapeutic benefit and so then the
3:11immune system is now overreacting out of
3:15balance and the inflammation just stays
3:17there now I just wanted to give you a
3:19side note there’s something called
3:21steroid induced
3:23glyca which means that when you take
3:26steroids that can actually cause
3:28glaucoma as well I think a great
Vitamin D resistance
3:30percentage of the autoimmune cases have
3:32a genetic problem with the vitamin D
3:35receptor or the conversion from the
3:38inactive to the active vitamin D or some
3:41type of absorption of vitamin D and that
3:44term collectively is called vitamin D
3:47resistance and this is why to overcome
3:49this resistance we need to go up with
3:53the dosage of vitamin D if we take a
3:56look at the normal amount of vitamin D
3:58uh which is pretty pretty much outdated
4:00there’s certain references that will
4:02tell you that if you’re below 20 nog per
4:06milliliter you’re deficient but Dr
4:08Harold shell says the normal range
4:11should be a lot higher because the
4:13initial norms for vitamin D were
4:16established on certain healthy people
4:18that live in a certain latitude on the
4:20planet and they really didn’t look at
4:22all the other therapeutic benefits of
4:24vitamin D because if you’re just trying
4:25to prevent bone loss or osteomalacia or
4:28rickets or something like that that
4:30maybe all it takes is a small amount but
4:33Dr shell says that you need between 100
4:37to 130 or even
4:40150 nanograms per milliliter an average
4:44doctor will look at that and freak out
4:45and say wow that’s going to be way too
4:47high you’re going to develop too much
4:49calcium in the blood well you might want
4:51to just hold on and get all the
4:52information on this topic because there
4:54is some fascinating data from Dr kre
4:57from Brazil who treats auto immune
5:00diseases and gets great results using
5:03high levels of vitamin D and here’s what
Vitamin D dosage
5:06he recommends to start out with a th000
5:09IUS of vitamin D per kilogram of body
5:13weight now I’m about 84 kg of weight so
5:18I would need
5:2084,000 IUS of vitamin D3 every single
5:23day because of that amount you’re going
5:25to get a lot of absorption of calcium
5:27well one thing you need to realize is
5:28when you test this vitamin D in the
5:30blood you’re not testing the active form
5:33of vitamin D you’re testing the inactive
5:35form that has to be converted through
5:38the various Pathways and if you have
5:40vitamin D resistance despite taking
5:43large amounts it might not connect to
5:45the receptors so this is kind of a
5:47protocol that allows you to increase
5:49your vitamin D to the point where you
5:51can overcome the resistance and actually
5:53connec to that receptor to create a
5:57therapeutic benefit to your immune
5:58system so the big question is how do we
6:00know that it’s connecting to the vitamin
6:02D receptor what you can do is you can
6:04check your parathyroid hormone because
6:06when you increase vitamin D okay and it
6:10connects with the receptor your
6:12parathyroid hormone will go down then
6:15you know it’s creating an effect on The
6:19receptors for vitamin D so what happens
6:21you start with this thousand IUS per
6:24kilogram for a few months so you keep
6:27tweaking the dose until you either
6:30achieve between 100 and 150 nogs per
6:34milliliter or the parathyroid hormone is
6:36in the low normal range and then you
6:39give it some time to work and to
6:42minimize any potential calcium buildup
6:44in the arteries you don’t take a calcium
6:47supplement number one you cut down on
6:49some of the calcium foods you drink 2
6:52and2 lers of fluid a day so you can
6:56actually prevent a kidney stone and take
7:00100 micrograms of vitamin K2 for every
7:0310,000 iuse of vitamin D3 and I will put
7:06that down in the description as well you
7:08also want to take magnesium about 600
7:11milligrams every single day magnesium
7:15helps to prevent this calcium buildup as
7:17well but let’s say you don’t have this
7:19condition but your parents have it or
7:21your grandparents have it and you want
7:22to prevent it well just start taking
7:24more vitamin D as a preventative measure
7:28for a Cascade of body problems that
7:32involve a potential autoimmune disease
7:34or glucoma anyway I wanted to do an
7:37update video on glucoma and give you
7:40this data to put this on your radar in
7:42case you want some Alternatives other
7:44than the typical treatment if you have
7:47not seen my video on vitamin D toxicity
7:51that would be a really good one to watch
7:52I’ll put that up right here check it out
